How We Work
How a Renault parts enquiry actually runs here — what we need from you, how we confirm fitment, and what happens once you accept a quote.
There is one process here and this is it. No tiers, no membership, nothing to sign up for. You describe a part, a person prices it, you decide.
1. You send the details
Use the enquiry form on any page, or WhatsApp us, or phone the counter — all three end up in the same place. The form asks for your Renault and its year, what the part is, whether you want new or second-hand, and how to reach you.
It also asks which side of the car the part sits on, and lets you skip that where it does not apply. Your town or suburb is optional but genuinely useful, because that is what carriage gets costed against.
2. It reaches the parts desk
Your enquiry is saved and passed straight to the counter in Briardene. Nothing on this site generates a price by itself — a person reads what you wrote and works out what can actually be sourced for that car.
That is also why the form asks you to write at least a sentence about the part. “Mirror” is a guess; “front right door mirror, electric, with the indicator in it” is something we can go and find.
3. We confirm what it fits
Fitment is worked out from your car's details, not from the badge on the boot. Model year, derivative, and where you have them the VIN or the numbers cast or stamped into the old part are what settle it.
If something is ambiguous we will come back and ask rather than guess. A photograph of the old part, or of the plate carrying the VIN, sorts out most of these in one message.
4. You get a quote
The quote tells you what the part is, what condition it is in — new, used or aftermarket — and what it costs. If there is more than one option at different money, you get the choice rather than just the cheapest.
Nothing on this website is a price. The written quote is the only place a number from us means anything, and it is the document that governs the sale.
5. You collect, or we send it
Payment is Cash, Credit Card or EFT. Once that is settled you can collect from the counter during trading hours, or have it sent to you — carriage is quoted with the part rather than added on afterwards.
What gets you a better answer, faster
- The VIN. It settles the derivative argument before it starts.
- Any number stamped, etched or cast into the part you are replacing.
- A photo of the old part, in place if you can, and of the plug on anything electrical.
- Whether you want new, used, or whichever comes back better — saying “whichever” usually widens what we can offer.
- Your town, so carriage is in the quote instead of being a question afterwards.
What we do not do
We do not fit parts, and we are not a workshop — we supply the part and your own mechanic puts it on. We do not publish stock lists, because what is available moves. And we do not give you a price before someone has looked at your enquiry, which is the point of the whole exercise above.
If you would rather just talk it through, the counter is on the phone and on WhatsApp during trading hours — the numbers and times are on the contact page. If you would rather browse first, start with the parts we list or find your Renault.
